To celebrate the listing of Ginkgo Bioworks (ticker: $DNA) on the New York Stock Exchange on September 17, 2021, the Creative Studio at Ginkgo Bioworks designed a limited edition of amber-inspired deal toys filled with DNA. The amber award cylinders are cast in gradient-dyed lucite and contain glass ampoules. The ampoules are themselves filled with DNA coding for the text of Ginkgo's S-4 filing document. Forty of these awards were produced in total.

To honor the ticker itself and its history, we incorporated DNA itself into these unique deal toys for members of the deal team. Echoing Ginkgo's playful t-shirts that suggest "there will be dragons" along with a modified Jurassic Park logo, these objects also reference the amber blocks from which dinosaur DNA is extracted in the Jurassic Park films. One of the deal toys is on display in the museum cabinets at Ginkgo's primary office at 27 Drydock Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts.
